In the New York Times Magazine, Susan Barton talks with Gross about the art of opening up. As the story says, "In a culture in which we are all talking about ourselves more than ever, Gross is not only listening intently; she's asking just the right questions." Matthew Weiner, the creator of Mad Men is a frequent guest on "Fresh Air" but he said about the experience, "Oh, this is my fantasy of a conversation. I'm not even talking about people hearing it.
