New Research Says that Bad Sleep Changes Your Body

In case you needed a reminder about the importance of true rest, here's a wake-up call (pun intended). British researchers have published findings that show evidence of "dramatic" changes in the human body when it routinely gets six hours of sleep or less. Poor sleep harms the body at the genetic level, resulting in much higher risk for heart disease, obesity, poor brain function, and other serious issues, not to mention depressed immune function and poor ability to cope with stress.

Possible Preaching Angle:

God's principle of Sabbath may run contrary to the "wisdom" of our high-octane, workaholic culture, but that doesn't mean that it isn't relevant. So, take a nap. It might just save your life. And take a rest. It might just help your soul.
