Choice Messages from 10 Featured Preachers

One prominent feature of our new PreachingToday.com design is the Featured Preachers area on the home page. While we have sermons from many, many more preachers than these 10, we will make it a point to present sermons from our Featured Preachers regularly. Several times a year we ask the Featured Preachers to recommend to us their favorite recent sermons, and thus on our site you get their choice messages.

This week we welcome a new editor to the PreachingToday.com team. Matt Woodley has come on board as managing editor. Prior to coming to PreachingToday.com, Matt served as pastor of a local church in Long Island, New York, for 9 years. Previously, he served as pastor of two churches in Minnesota. All told, he has been preaching for over 20 years. Matt is author of two books—Holy Fools, and The Folly of Prayer—and he just completed writing a commentary on the Gospel of Matthew that will be published by InterVarsity in 2011 as part of their Resonate series. You may also recognize Matt as a writer for Leadership journal and a regular contributor of illustrations, sermons, and articles to PreachingToday.com. I am very happy to have Matt with us, and I am confident you will value the strong contribution he makes to our website.

Matt is moving into the post held by Brian Lowery, who has worked with us for nearly four years. Thankfully we are not saying goodbye to Brian, who continues to work for PreachingToday.com in other capacities as he prepares to return to full-time local church ministry as a church planter.

Preaching Christ,
Brian
