A Coffee and a Prayer

Sometimes, a cup of coffee is just what someone needs to make it through the day—sometimes, however, the people making the coffee can provide better help. That's what happened recently in Vancouver, Washington, when the baristas at a Dutch Brothers coffee stand noticed that one of their customers was becoming emotional. Upon finding out the woman's husband had died the previous evening, the workers prayed with her, in a moment that has now gone viral thanks to a photo shared on Facebook. After the prayers, the woman "just shook all of our hands and wiped her face and said 'thank you,'" according to one of the baristas.

Possible Preaching Angle:

Even if you don't work at a coffee stand, this story reminds us that opportunities to spread God's love exist all around us.
