Diseased and Oblivious

A study shows that nearly 30 percent of Americans who have diabetes don't know that they have it. This disease of course, if left untreated, can carry extremely serious health implications—including amputation, blindness, and even death. With such dire potential consequences shouldn't we be well informed on the signs and symptoms of diabetes? Well, not necessarily. Unfortunately, this disease can easily go unnoticed until the symptoms become severe.
