White Collar Thieves

A number of people from my church had gone out for dinner, and as we each put in our money to pay the bill, one person told a story that reveals much about human nature.

She and 20 others were out of town on a business trip. One night after they finished dinner at a restaurant, they asked one of the men, who was an auditor, to handle collecting the money and paying the bill. He was glad to do it. One by one the people around the table paid for their meal and tip.

The group left the restaurant, and it wasn't long before the auditor was in hot water with his fellow workers. It turned out he had pocketed the waiter's tip.
