My husband had four major blockages in his heart, so the doctors planned for an open-heart surgery. On the morning of the surgery, I drove to the hospital, worried and tense. But my spirits lifted when I passed a church only two blocks before the hospital. The church sign announced the coming sermon: WANTED--OPEN VESSELS.
