Learning from Discouragement

There was a story in the paper in Chicago this last weekend about a man who was being pursued by his wife. To escape her he jumped over a five-foot wall. He never knew he could do that before. That's what you call the stimulation of unrecognized resources. As he looked back on that discouraging moment, he suddenly learned something he hadn't known before.
