Trials Can't Be Avoided

Several of our people were injured on the ice of last month. I have a feeling that not one of them ventured out his doorway and said to his wife, "Honey, I'm going to go get the paper and fall and break my leg while I'm out. Okay?" If you've ever been on slick ice, as I have, it doesn't matter how careful or sure-footed you are, when you hit that slick spot, it's over before you can do anything but hit the ground.

The Bible says that is the picture of your trials. It is not that there is anything preventative that you can do that will keep you from having a trial. There's no use trying. You're going to encounter some trials.
