I heard Dr. Hill tell this story, but I had forgotten about it. So glad to find it. I'm preaching from Mark 11:22-25 this Sunday, and Hill's story will be the opening story.

I don't know where I would be without the prayers of my mother!

This is a super illustration, one I can identify with. From my entrance into college until this very day I have seen God's provision. He has provided through individuals and churches. Now in retirement I still see his provision and rejoice in it. Bill Raymond

I had a similar experience when I went to Paul Quinn College. I know the value of a praying grandmother when the funds are few and far between.

I had a very similar experience when I went to college. Without the help of loving Christians, I could not have made it. The Lord has provided a way for me to complete the B.A.,M.Div.,M.A., and D.Min. degrees, all with some assistance from those who cared enough to support and love me through it all, and especially with the love and support of a Christian mother.
