Lost Ring Returned After 40 Years
Jim and Jane Flynn have a story familiar to all too many couples. During a fun day on the lake in 1967, Jim's wedding ring slipped off of his finger into the depths, never to be seen again. That is, until recently, when vacationer Peggy Rodman noticed the glint of shiny gold in the lake water. After some research and a bit of luck, Peggy was able to return the ring to Jim and Jane Flynn, who, after 39 years, could not believe their eyes. Jane reportedly "put the ring on her finger and hugged it close like a long-lost love."
