"Rocky": Chosen to Do Battle

"Rocky" is the famous inspirational movie about a down-and-out mediocre boxer seizing an incredible opportunity. Heavyweight champion Apollo Creed's opponent for his Philadelphia fight became injured and canceled three weeks prior to the fight. No legitimate heavyweight contenders are available, so as a patriotic promotional idea Creed chooses a local fighter to give him a chance at the American dream.
