Topic: How to be a great people for God

Introduction:

Illustration: College basketball team's motto: "Good people do for themselves; great people do for others."
In America today, the attitude is more that great people do for themselves; good people do for others.
Jesus' teaching about greatness is opposite to that attitude.

Great people put others first.

Great people serve all.

Great people serve with no thought of reward.

If Christian faith is taking hold in your life, you're going to be able to serve a "little one" just as you would anyone else.

Great people depend on God to give them what they need to serve him.

God asks us to do things we obviously cannot do so that it's clear he's done it all.

Conclusion:

If we will call out to God for his vision, we will be a great church not just a good church.
