Young Men Give Most Often to World Vision

A recent (2013) survey by World Vision and Harris showed which demographic is most likely to give to a charitable donation. And the "winner" was a bit surprising—young men ages 18-34, the group frequently labeled as self-centered, unmotivated, and penniless. The poll conducted among 2,000 U.S. adults, revealed that 56 percent of men ages 18-34 have given a charitable gift, versus 36 percent of older men (ages 35 and above) and 37 percent of their female counterparts.
