Brian, you may want to look a little deeper into Anne Rice's conversion. If I'm not mistaken, she did not believe in Christ alone for eternal life (John 14:6), she turned back to Catholicism. In "The Gospel According to Anne" by David Gates, it says: In 2005, Newsweek reported, "[Rice] came close to death last year, when she had surgery for an intestinal blockage, and also back in 1998, when she went into a sudden diabetic coma; that same year she returned to the Roman Catholic Church, which she'd left at 18."
