After editing PreachingToday.com since 1999, and preaching since 1975, one thing that surprises me is that I am still regularly surprised by the freshness and "wow" of the new illustrations, articles, and sermons that come our way.
Every week I read something that makes me think, That is really good! Frankly, when we started PreachingToday.com, we weren't sure we would be able to find quality illustrations each week, or a preaching skills article that even an experienced preacher would benefit from reading every week. Now I know we can with God's help, and in fact it feels as though we are just scratching the surface of the creativity, rich theology, great ideas, and Christ-honoring sermons that biblical preachers are coming up with across the land.
Like the immigrant comedian who says of the U.S., "What a country!" I can sincerely say of PreachingToday.com, "What a site!"
