Site Orientation
Welcome to PreachingToday.com!
Here are a few tips to help you become oriented with the site:
Login Information
You log in to PreachingToday.com by entering your email address and password in the space provided at the top of the homepage, to the right of the search box. When you have successfully logged in, a welcome note will replace the log-in boxes.
Email: Your email address associated with your PreachingToday.com account
Password: The password you chose during the sign-up process
Content
There are four main collections on PreachingToday.com. In order to enter a specific collection, you can click on the appropriate tab at the top of the page.
Find Sermon Illustrations: Search 10,000+ top-quality illustrations—written and video—sorted by topic and Bible reference.
Connect with Culture: Search articles, illustrations, and blog entries for material that helps you discover helpful intersections between the gospel and culture
Find Sermons: Search sermon transcripts, sermon outlines, sermon series, and series ideas
Sharpen Your Skills: Find articles, interviews and workshops that will help you find ways to improve your preaching
You can also search resources on PreachingToday.com via the QuickLinks to the left of the large image on the homepage: Illustrations, Sermons, Articles, and Multimedia.
Search Tools
A search box is found at the top of each page. Type in the pertinent information (topic, Bible reference, speaker name, etc) and click Enter. Another way to search the site is via our browsing options. There is also a link (titled "browse") to click on at the bottom right corner of the search box. This link will take you to a landing page filled with search options. You can search by topic, Bible reference, master topics, or date. Browse Tools
If you are not exactly sure what you are searching for or would like to see an extensive list of the ways that you can search, you can Browse each collection. The Browse option is found right below the search box. Click here to view the Browse page.
