At PreachingToday.com we are committed to supplying you with illustrations that are accurate and trustworthy. So much so, that we will add 6 months free to your PreachingToday.com membership—a value of $24.97—if you provide information leading to, solely in the editors' opinion, significant revision or removal of an illustration on our site. Do you verify the sources of all your illustrations and quotes?
Many of our illustrations and quotes come straight out of the pages of the Christianity Today International family of publications. For items outside our editorial control, we go to great lengths to identify the source of every illustration and quote we publish. However, the sources of some illustrations, quotes, and personal anecdotes are anonymous, are originated by you, our readership, or are simply unidentifiable. If you discover an item in our database with inaccurate source information, please let us know by using the contact information found in the purple Help & Info tab at the top of each page.

Where do you get new illustrations and quotes?
Our editors review the latest publications for relevant illustrations, quotes, statistics, and sermon material. We excerpt the best from publications like Time, USA Today, the New York Times, Rolling Stone Magazine, LEADERSHIP Journal, Christianity Today, Christian History, and more. However, we can't find all of it on our own, and we are always grateful when members send us relevant materials. Please review our editorial submission guidelines before submitting an illustration.

Where do you get new sermons and workshops?
Many of the transcripts and audio sermons that appear on PreachingToday.com come from our Preaching Today Audio Series, which is a monthly service in which customers receive two new sermons and one new preaching workshop each month by mail. After the sermons have run on the Audio Series we place them on our website. There is no timetable of when a sermon or workshop that appeared on the series will be released on PreachingToday.com.
Another source of our sermons are pastors who have proven their ability to write biblical, relevant messages and who regularly provide us with sermons preached in their church.

Where do you get new videos and video illustrations?
We partner with a Christianity Today sister site called FaithVisuals.com to provide new videos, video illustrations, and PowerPoint backgrounds. They work with talented and innovative producers all over the country to bring you the best visual media available and appropriate for church use. Some of the visual media you may have seen before, but a lot is exclusive to FaithVisuals.com. They're constantly searching for churches and organizations that have great visual media to contribute. At PreachingToday.com we want to provide our members with some of the best visual media on the web today. Looking for images to use in any setting can be quite a challenge if you're at all concerned with following copyright law. However, open-source websites have made it simple for users all over the world to give away their photographs and smashed open the walls for everyday Internet users to access high-quality stock photography-for free! If the illustration, quote, sermon or article that I submitted is accepted, what do I get in return?
If your illustration or quote is accepted for our Preaching Connection newsletter, we will pay you for it. See our editorial submission guidelines to see the current rates and for more information. We also pay for articles and sermons, however, the rate changes depending on the content. Again, see our editorial submission guidelines.
